Device Pre‑Dispatch Testing & Validation #

Purpose  #

This document defines the checklist and testing procedure to validate network devices before dispatching to the client. #

Scope #

Applies to all devices shipped to clients, including those with dual SIM support. #

(1) Pre‑Checks #

• Physical appearance and damage check #

• Labeling verification (Serial No., MAC, Model No.) #

• Power adapter and accessories check

(2) Port Testing Procedure

LAN Port Testing #

• Configure LAN profile on each LAN port #

• Connect test PC  #

• Verify link status (UP) #

• Ping test for connectivity #

• Confirm correct VLAN assignment and DHCP #

WAN Port Testing #

• Configure WAN profile on WAN port #

• Connect WAN uplink  #

• Verify device comes online through WAN #

• Speed & packet loss test

(3) SIM Slot Testing #

• Insert SIM in SIM Slot 1 → Connect to network #

• Confirm device comes online #

• Check signal strength #

• Repeat steps for SIM Slot 2 #

• Keep device online for defined monitoring period #

• Ensure no disconnections or reboot loops #
