LLDP (Link Layer Discovery Protocol) is a network discovery protocol that helps devices on the same network (such as switches, routers, and computers) discover details about each other. This includes their identity, capabilities, and connectivity status. LLDP operates at the Data Link layer (Layer 2) of the OSI model.
Purpose:
Enabling LLDP on network devices allows them to automatically exchange and update information about the network topology, ensuring proper device discovery and facilitating network management.
Steps 1: Navigate to the profiles, select Network Interface, choose the LAN profile, and click View / Edit.

Steps 2: Go to Advanced, enable LLDP, and save the changes.
