Adding Appliances to RAY Cloud Controller

HOW TO ADD GATEWAY AND AP TO THE CLOUD

  • Go to Appliances , Click  on +Add Appliances  to add devices.

        
  •  Press the “Add” button to  add the device. 

 

  • Fill in the details such as the MAC address of the device and the Security code  (last 6 digits of the Serial number) 
  • Select the desired option for assigning the device, either as an Access Point or Gateway. 

 

 

  • Select the mode as per the Your requirement (Gateway/ Bridge no Firewall/ Bridge+Firewall) As shown in below picture.      

    Notes:

  1. If you have a gateway device, it must be added in Gateway mode.
  2. If you only have an Access Point, you can configure it as Bridge + Firewall or Bridge No Firewall.
  3. If you have both a gateway and an Access Point, configure the gateway device in Gateway mode and the Access Point as Bridge No Firewall mode.

 

 

  •  Other Option: You can also add multiple devices simultaneously by using the given format. 
  • You may request this file from your distributor or create it manually. The format of the file is available via the “Download Sample File” link.
